| This lovely vintage toffee tin by George W Horner & Co Ltd, definitely has the bow wow WOW factor. Cute little puppy dog and bee picture on the lid with a good luck horseshoe symbol. The bottom of the tin has some of it's orginal paper label with the contents and ingredients content. There is an additional importers label which reads, Imported and Distributed by Alexander - Taylor Inc. Los Angeles California. The tin measures 15.5 cm long by 11.5 cm wide at widest point. | What a sweetie! Made just for that purpose, this vintage 'Blue Bird' confectionery tin made in England by Harry Vincent Limited is charmingly decorated with well know nursery rhyme characters. Mary had a little lamb, Ride a cock horse, Hey Diddle Diddle, Little Boy Blue to name a few. The tin is shaped and decorated like a pretty country cottage on three sides. Overall in lovely condition with one small scuff on the front of the tin and some slight rust marks to the roof area. | Very charming Burton's Biscuit Tin featuring a very pretty little girl and her equally pretty kitten surrounded by pink blossom, couldn't get prettier if you tried! This tin has a hinged lid and has some slight dents to lid and scratches (please see photos). It has also been sellotaped at one time and there are residual tape marks around the lid and base of the tin too. However, this is a very pretty tin that would look perfect on display, standing on some shelves (where the tape marks would not be visible). Perfect for a little girl's room for storing her treasures and secrets or maybe for a sewing room filled with your brightly coloured buttons or threads. Large tin measuring approx 20cm x 24cm x 6cm. | Prettily decorated with pansies, this clever tin made by Rowntrees of York in the 1930's has two functions. Originally sold containing Rowntrees confections, when empty this tin transforms in to a little dish by turning the lid upside down and inserting in the slot in the bottom .. Voila .. a perfect bon bons dish. Measuring 18 cm in length. Some surface scratches but overall, in very good condition for it's age. |
| Very old Macfarlane Lang's tin. Tin decorated with paper labels. We are intrigued by the original contents "Duchess Pears - Afternoon Tea cakes - Pear shaped". Whatever they were, they sound very tempting... Lovely old tin with decorated papers, showings signs of wear and tear commensurate with age. It is not in pristine condition as can be seen from photos with some lettering missing from rear of tin and fading and staining to lid. However, this is a very collectible tin and would look lovely on some old kitchen shelves. Tin measures approx 36cm x 11cm. Makes you feel like you have walked into a very old grocer's shop. | A beautiful early vintage tin from the Huntley & Palmers Ltd factory once based in Reading. The lid and sides of the tin are smothered in vibrant Anemone flowers and this tin would have contained Huntley & Palmers finest selection of assorted biscuits. The factory produced many decorative tins, not to mention biscuits in their day. Measuring 23 x 22 x 12 cm. Little wear overall other than some surface scratches and wear to the lid and edges fo the tin. A wonderful item for the collector. |

| An exceptionally pretty 1920s hinged lid tin. These are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially in this condition. Wonderful soft muted colours, soft plum background and dove grey and gold flowers, birds and beautiful lady in diaphonous frock. Not only is the lid beautiful but the sides are decorated with floral images too. Overall condition is very good for age, there are some slight scratches, tarnishing to edges and dents (lid is slightly difficult to close) but these are to be expected for the age. | This lovely Victorian Tolework deed tin, must have seen some secrets housed within it over the years. Perfect for love letters, poems, all manner of little snippets of life can be kept in this pretty tin. It has a very fetching floral design stencilled on the lid with. Hinged lid and lock for a key.. but sadly no key! Measuring 24 cm wide, 16.5 cm deep and 9cm high. There is some wear to the edges of the tin and crazing to the design on the lid. This little boy is off to catch a tiddler or two, sunhat, fishing rod and pail at the ready..., absolutely delightful. Tin has seen better days (please see photos), there are scratches to lid and sides but this does not, in our opinion, detract from its charm. Images to the side are of little fishes and grass. | Take one little boy, an upturned barrel, a trusty terrier, a can and a fishing stick... place on a stream and you have a very nostalgic vintage biscuit tin produced by Mcvitie & Price, entitled "The Optimist". A delightful tin which also features images to its side of a little boy fishing with his dog. | Lovely vintage Milady Confectionary Tin. Judging by its size, this looks to be a shop counter tin, it measures approx 24cm x 19cm x 10cm. It's a case of "Rule Britannia" with this nautical tin - a painting of the Royal Ship Britannia on the tin lid, whilst the sides of the tin are adorned with wonderful seahorses and silvery waves. The tin is showing signs of its age, scratches to tin lid and sides and some rusting to top edge of tin (please see photos). One side of the tin has also marks from what looks like tape (see photo). However the colours are a beautiful blue, shades of aqua that would look wonderful sitting on some bathroom shelves... Nautical but nice! |

| Well the chocolates may have been eaten but the box remains! Lovely (empty!) vintage chocolate box made by Cadbury's. A 2lb box, now that's a lot of chocolate... A beautiful image of summer lupins and summer flowers in a jug on a sunlit table - chocolate and flowers, now that would have been a treat! Box is in good condition for its age, showing some signs of wear and tear to its edges (no doubt lots of eager hands have been prising the lid off to get to the goodies inside).
