| Charming old wooden seed box. Could be used for so many things, too good for the potting shed. We could almost run a competition for storage ideas for this one... How about keeping it by the fireside for your kindling? Storing your sewing bits and bobs? Somewhere to keep those little terracotta pots? Display it on a shelf? Measures approx 36cm x 26cm x 7cm. | Lovely framed vintage print of Margaret Tarrant's "Morning Carol". Print is in original frame which has some staining to the underside of glass in top two corners, this may come off if you are willing to remove print from frame and give it a clean. The rear backing paper has been refixed with tape. The print itself is absolutely charming, printed by the Medici Society, for whom Margaret Tarrant, the famous illustrator and artist worked. A little boy sits beneath a blossom covered tree filled with singing morning birds, Spring flowers in the grass and bunnies at his feet... Frame measures approx 26cm x 34cm. |
| Lovely bright vintage Rose biscuit/cake tin. Gorgeous roses sit on a rosy red background on the lid of this tin and gold roses decorate its sides. The tin does have some surface scratching and a dent in particular to one side (see photos) and is tarnished on the inside. However, this would look lovely sitting on some shelves adding a touch of floral fun! Measures approx 24cm. |
| Very old Dainty Dinah "Special Assortment" tin, produced by George Horner. As can be seen by the photos this tin has seen better days but the gorgeous bandleader, Dinah, seems unperturbed. Scratches and slight dent to lid due to age and wear. It is, however, a highly collectible tin and of some age too. Measures approx 12cm x 18cm. Strike up the band... |
| Wonderful commemorative tin produced by Cadbury's Bournville to announce their appointment as chocolate and cocoa manufacturers to HRH Queen Mary. Featured on the back of the tin are images of two former queens who also had honoured them with the same appointment - Queen Victoria and Queen Alexandra. 1920s art deco marquetry image on front of tin in form of vase of flowers - lovely, with marquetry designs to sides of tin as well. Tin has four plastic black feet to base and a hinged lid. Some slight wear due to age and tarnishing to interior. Tin measures approx 16cm x 11cm x 4cm. A charming tin and a slice of royal history! |
