| First edition of Margaret Tempest's charming "A Sunday Book For Children", published in 1954 by Collins. Intended by the author for a child to take with him to church, this little book is full of little prayers and hymns, accompanied by her wonderful and distinctive illustrations. Book is in overall good condition with a rare intact dustjacket which has not been price clipped. Jacket is showing signs of age to edges and back and has slight tear to base. The illustrated board covers underneath are in very good condition and the contents are fine. Book measures approx 15cm x 17cm. A lovely gift or something to keep to add to the treasure, a rare opportunity to buy this book from the celebrated children's illustrator. |

| Never judge a book by its cover - that's what we would say about this little one. A lovely little book full of little prayers. "My Thank You Book" by Alex Wilson is beautifully illustrated and contains prayers for many occasions and things. "Thank You" for My Home, Spring Blossom, A Rainy Day, For Playtime, For Winter, Outdoor Pets ... The dustjacket is in rather a sorry state due to age and use (please see photos) but its board covers are in fine condition as are the contents. There is the previous owner's name written on inside front paper. Measures approx 11cm x 17cm. |
| Benjamin Bunny and friend are a lovely couple of vintage flocked bunnies . The larger of the two is in fact a money box and has a slot for placing your pennies in. The baby bunny is very sweet indeed. Sadly Benjamin is a little bald on top but this does not spoil his charm or ability to save your pennies to buy an new Easter bonnet with. |
| Lovely framed vintage print of Margaret Tarrant's "Morning Carol". Print is in original frame which has some staining to the underside of glass in top two corners, this may come off if you are willing to remove print from frame and give it a clean. The rear backing paper has been refixed with tape. The print itself is absolutely charming, printed by the Medici Society, for whom Margaret Tarrant, the famous illustrator and artist worked. A little boy sits beneath a blossom covered tree filled with singing morning birds, Spring flowers in the grass and bunnies at his feet... Frame measures approx 26cm x 34cm. |
| Lovely old book by Felix Salten, the author of Bambi, entitled "Fifteen Rabbits", published by The Commodore Press. This is a first edition, 1943, and carries the Book Production War Economy Standard to show that it was produced to conform with the publishing and printing restrictions in place during the War. With illustrations by Sheila Dunn. The dustjacket has not been price clipped and, as can be seen from the photos, has wear to edges and spine (bottom 2cm of spine missing) this is due to its age and the paper used during wartime printing. However the contents are lovely and bright and there is an inscription on inside front endpaper. |

| A dear 'Little Grey Rabbit' vintage wooden puzzle. Based on the illustration by Margarest Tempest who illustrated all the charming and popular Little Grey Rabbit series of books. This 15 piece wooden puzzle is taken from 'Little Grey Rabbit's Birthday' and is a Raphael Tuck Jigsaw. In very good condition in original box. The box shows some small signs of wear in the form of creases and a small tear to the side of the lid. Puzzle itself measures 7.5" x 5.5 ". |

1953 third impression of Alison Uttley's "Ten Tales of Tim Rabbit", published by Faber & Faber. A collection of Uttley's Tim Rabbit stories combined in one book. Gorgeous illustrated cover by Alex Buckels with black and white illustrations inside too. Book measures approx 14cm x 20cm. In overall good condition for age, contents clean and bright, some wear to edges of board cover and spine looks a little delicate but contents are tight.
| Three gorgeous crocheted vintage doilies in lovely colours with floral patterns, just waiting to sit beneath your Easter cake stands and pots of tea.... These would look so pretty on a vintage tablecloth with floral crockery and of course, lots of cake! Two doilies have pansies to their edge and the third has yellow daisies in their design. All in co-ordinating colours that seem to sing out "Spring!". |
| Very charming poster from the Enid Blyton Nature Plates Series drawn by Eileen Soper, circa late 1950s. This is number 25 in the series entitled 'Tick Tock The Buttercup.' The artists signature is in the bottom right hand corner. These were often hung in classrooms as educational aids, there are two pinholes in the top two corners and a tiny nick to bottom border (approx 1cm and this could be covered with a mount), it is in very good condition. Poster measures approx (53cm x 42cm). Buttercups, elves, Spring Days and open fields ... what could be better? |

Originally used for educational purposes, these posters were published in the 1940's and adorned classroom walls with their wonderful graphics. This poster measures 36 cm square and is No:20 The Shepherd and his Lambs'. Charmingly illustrated and in excellent condition other than a pin hole in the top margin. This would look fabulous framed. | An Easter Basket with a difference! Gorgeous vintage chocolate display box, the sort used in shops, filled with vintage Easter essentials - bunnies, tortoises, duck and bonbons! To keep the little china bunny company, we have put a very old plastic bunny eggcup and a china duck one too, a 1970s Ladybird edition of "Bunnikins Picnic" and some old empty flower seed packets. Two little old jelly moulds - the tortoise and the hare, to make your Easter tea very jolly, three vintage bunny Easter postcards (these have been used), and two vintage French bonbons paper bags to fill with eggs (the chocolate kind) if you choose. There's even room to place a large chocolate egg in the box too, and when it's all over you get to put the wooden box on your kitchen shelves! |
